MÖBIUS' objective is to identify and implement performance improvement opportunities. We do so by optimising processes and by linking employees' attitude, competences and IT systems to meet business objectives.
Making changes throughout any organisation is similar to building a house. The exercise is one of clear commitments, correct follow-up, budget control, good communication and limited adjustments. Change management, program management and clear communication to the different stakeholders are vital.
MÖBIUS' differentiator:
Ideally, critical decisions should be based on factual information: why reorganise without certitudes about the outcome regarding performance, service levels, people acceptance and enthusiasm, and so forth. Instead, business problems are too often directly tackled from the technical side when nobody is in a position yet to know about the consequences and achievable results.
At MÖBIUS we purposefully focus our interventions on quantitative elements and simulation techniques; hence enabling to factually assess the stakes and risks associated with any transformation project prior to any decision being taken.
Indeed, along with the classical improvement project phasing framework consisting of current situation analysis and quick wins identification, AS-IS situation modelling and TO-BE scenarios definition, we add an essential validation phase where the AS-IS model is tested and calibrated against reality and, based on that, several TO-BE scenarios are simulated in order to ascertain the best fitting combination with regards to targeted objectives. Moreover, such simulations allow determining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be used during and after implementation phase.
Last but not least, this quantitative approach greatly facilitates implementing a process monitoring service, allowing to effectively deal with continuous improvement.
