The next AMF session will take place on Thursday January 26th and promises to be particularly interesting!
Besides the guided tour at KOMATSU and the presentation of Gert Van Nuffelen about the new Belgacom DC, we propose you to elaborate on the future vision for the After Market Business.

Gert Van Nuffelen, Director Supply Chain Operations at Belgacom, will present to you: “Service Logistics, a modular building blocks approach?”
End 2011, beginning 2012 all the logistical activities of the Belgacom Group will be centralized in 1 distribution center at Courcelles, south of Brussels. For this major supply chain change Belgacom has joined a partnership with H. Essers and Dynafix. The new concept is built around separate modules. This way through customer segmentation the right service can be delivered to the right customer, without each time having to do the preparation work of setting up a specific SC process. With this new concept the distribution of spare parts for network boards can use the same logistics modules or building blocks as for e.g. mobile phone.

Discussion topic:
|
The objective of this peer to peer exchange is to formulate clear insights into the following question:
“How must the After Market Business anticipate upon the challenges of the coming 5 years?”
· What are the strategies to follow?
· Which challenges do we expect?
· How to react pro-actively and appropriately?
· What are the necessary conditions in order to realise this future vision?
We will use ‘The World Café’ methodology, coordinated by one of MOBIUS’ specialists Filip De Cock, in order to facilitate this discussion; a simple format that has proven to be very effective for hosting this kind of group dialogue.
