Supply Chain & Operational Excellence Consultant
Do you want to help organisations make their supply chain and processes more reliable, efficient and agile? As a Supply Chain & Operational Excellence Consultant at Möbius, you guide clients from analysis to visible results on the shop floor.
About
Möbius is a consultancy that helps organisations across sectors design and implement the best solutions. Our 140+ colleagues work in Belgium and the Netherlands and have been supporting a wide variety of organisations since 1997.
Customers expect perfect service, costs and cash need to stay under control and supply chains have to become more resilient. We help organisations respond to these challenges with an end-to-end view of their supply chain and processes. We believe improvements only truly pay off when the people behind them change too. That is why we firmly opt for a people-centred and results-driven approach.
To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Supply Chain & Operational Excellence Consultant.
Your day-to-day work ...
Supply Chain Management
You help clients find the right balance between service, costs and cash. You contribute to projects on supply chain strategy and network design, inventory optimisation, logistics and warehouse operations, Sales & Operations Planning and demand & supply planning.
Operational Excellence
You map processes as one coherent value stream, from customer demand to result. Using methodologies such as Lean, VSM and BPM, you make waiting times, handovers and waste visible and tackle them structurally. You help teams embed continuous improvement in their daily operations, with attention to leadership, ownership and self-management.
From analysis to implementation
You analyse data, processes and KPIs and translate them into well-founded insights. Together with the client, you design feasible solutions and guide the change, so that new ways of working really stick.
Collaboration and facilitation
You work closely with teammates and with the client, from the shop floor to the board. You facilitate workshops, bring different departments around the table and ensure broadly supported decisions. You also identify new client needs and help develop proposals.
What you bring ...
-
A master’s degree and 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, operations or operational excellence, at a consultancy or within an organisation.
-
Strong analytical insight: you get to the heart of data and processes and translate them into clear conclusions.
-
An eye for the human side of change: you know how to bring people along and quickly build trust with clients.
-
A healthy dose of team spirit: you work with colleagues and clients to find the best solution.
-
Dutch or French as your mother tongue, with at least a good basic knowledge of the other national language. You also speak English fluently.
-
APICS or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a big plus.
We offer you ...
💸 an attractive salary package with numerous benefits (such as an electric company car, laptop, insurance, sports and wellbeing initiatives, etc.).
👩🏼💻 a role in a self-managing organisational model (holacracy), with the opportunity to carry out important projects with complete freedom and autonomy, allowing you to showcase your talents every day.
