Healthcare Consultant
Do you care about healthcare and want to help build better care that remains affordable? As a Healthcare Consultant at Möbius, you guide healthcare organisations and partners from analysis to visible results.
About
Möbius is a consultancy that helps organisations across sectors design and implement the best solutions. Our 140+ colleagues work in Belgium and the Netherlands and have been supporting a wide variety of organisations since 1997.
Belgian healthcare is among the best in the world, but it is under great pressure. An ageing population, new treatments and higher patient expectations are driving up demand for care, while resources are limited. The challenge is therefore to deliver more and better care with fewer resources. Our multidisciplinary healthcare team supports hospitals, primary care, policymakers and life sciences companies in meeting that challenge. We strive for excellence in processes and behaviour, back up our proposals with analysis, pay attention to change management and connect as many parties as possible within our network.
To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Healthcare Consultant.
Your day-to-day work ...
Approach and implementation
You analyse data and processes, back up your proposals with facts and simulate alternatives where needed. Together with the client, you develop tailored solutions and guide the implementation, with due attention to change management and buy-in among care providers and staff.
Collaboration and client relationships
You work closely with teammates and with the client, from the shop floor to the board. You bring different care partners around the table and build relationships of trust. You also identify new client needs and help develop proposals.
Depending on your experience and interests, you do this in one or more domains:
-
Hospitals: you help hospitals and hospital networks deliver better care at lower cost. Think of optimising processes in the pharmacy, operating theatre, sterilisation department or on wards, strengthening the patient experience, guiding healthcare mergers and collaboration within hospital networks, or questions around hospital financing.
-
Primary care: you support residential care centres, home care organisations, care companies, health insurance funds and facilities for people with disabilities in their organisation, processes and collaboration, with a view to integrated care close to the patient.
-
Health policy: you guide governments and healthcare organisations in developing, operationalising and monitoring policy, defining their strategy and choosing a suitable organisational form.
-
Life sciences: you help pharmaceutical and medtech companies with challenges such as market access and reimbursement, optimising patient pathways, customer service and supply chain. You work in a complex environment with hospitals, care providers, governments and patients.
What you bring ...
-
A master’s degree and 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience in healthcare or life sciences, at a consultancy or within an organisation.
-
Strong analytical insight: you get to the heart of data and processes and translate them into clear conclusions.
-
An eye for the human side of change: you know how to bring people along and quickly build trust with clients.
-
A healthy dose of team spirit: you work with colleagues and clients to find the best solution.
-
Dutch or French as your mother tongue, with at least a good basic knowledge of the other national language. You also speak English fluently.
-
Good knowledge of the Belgian healthcare landscape and an entrepreneurial mindset are a plus.
We offer you ...
💸 an attractive salary package with numerous benefits (such as an electric company car, laptop, insurance, sports and wellbeing initiatives, etc.).
👩🏼💻 a role in a self-managing organisational model (holacracy), with the opportunity to carry out important projects with complete freedom and autonomy, allowing you to showcase your talents every day.
💪🏼 a buddy from day one and support from experienced colleagues.
🎓 extensive training opportunities so you can become an expert in your field, develop your own career plan, stay up to date with the latest trends and, above all, stay inspired.
💡 an entrepreneurial and innovative company culture centred on client focus, knowledge sharing and collegiality.
💬 a continuous feedback culture with the drive to keep growing and to earn trust.
🕦 flexible working hours, inspiring offices and the option to work from your own home office.
👥 a great bunch of enthusiastic and passionate colleagues.
