Sustainability Consultant

• You will guide both private and public organizations in designing and implementing sustainability policies, from strategic vision to action plans.

• You support sustainability journeys: from ESG strategy and concrete actions, to implementation, to reporting and communication, while consistently engaging stakeholders throughout the process.

• You contribute within transition programs focused on systemic change (e.g., sustainable food chains, climate transition) and facilitate collaboration between governments, businesses, and research institutions.

• You will run climate studies involving carbon footprint calculations (corporate/product) and translate these into transition plans and targets (e.g., SBTi).

• You will develop proposals for sustainability strategies and roadmaps to support our commercial activities.

• A master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, sustainable development, environmental sciences, chemistry, or economics.

• 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience dealing with the sustainability challenges organizations face, with a willingness to dive deeper into specific topics.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to independently analyze, summarize, and report data to clients.

• Strong communication skills when interacting with clients, management, employees, and other stakeholders.

• Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality proposals and deliverables.

• Excellent knowledge of Dutch, preferably with a thorough knowledge of French and English as well.

• Preferably experience with reporting frameworks (CSRD/Ecovadis) and climate management (corporate/product carbon footprint, SBTi, transition planning, etc.).
