Sustainability Consultant
Want to have a real impact in the sustainable transition? As a Sustainability Consultant at Möbius, you guide companies and governments from strategy to tangible results
About
Möbius is a consulting firm that helps organizations across various sectors design and implement the best solutions. Our more than 140 colleagues are based in Belgium and the Netherlands and have been supporting a wide variety of organizations for over 29 years.
We assist both businesses and policymakers in finding solutions to sustainability challenges and guiding them through their sustainable transition. Crafting effective business strategies and policy measures that lead to tangible impactful outcomes, we involve stakeholders at every stage of the development process, supplementing hard facts and figures with collective intelligence.
To further support our growth and enable our strong team to make an even greater impact, we are looking for a Sustainability Consultant

-
You contribute within transition programs focused on systemic change (e.g., sustainable food chains, climate transition) and facilitate collaboration between governments, businesses, and research institutions.
-
You will run climate studies involving carbon footprint calculations (corporate/product) and translate these into transition plans and targets (e.g., SBTi).
-
You will develop proposals for sustainability strategies and roadmaps to support our commercial activities.
Our ideal colleague has...
-
A master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, sustainable development, environmental sciences, chemistry, or economics.
-
2 to 4 years of relevant work experience dealing with the sustainability challenges organizations face, with a willingness to dive deeper into specific topics.
-
Strong project management skills and the ability to independently analyze, summarize, and report data to clients.
-
Strong communication skills when interacting with clients, management, employees, and other stakeholders.
-
Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality proposals and deliverables.
-
Excellent knowledge of Dutch, preferably with a thorough knowledge of French and English as well.
-
Preferably experience with reporting frameworks (CSRD/Ecovadis) and climate management (corporate/product carbon footprint, SBTi, transition planning, etc.).
